2011 Almost Over

Well, it is hard to believe that this year has almost come to a close....I have had a rough year, to say the least....so I am looking forward to starting anew with 2012. I haven't been on Facebook much during the month of December, but I have focused on spending time with my family....which was a good decision for me =) I am working on a newsletter for the end of the month...I am so proud of you guys and all that you have accomplished this year with your Scentsy businesses =) I am also going to start taking up money for the team shirts this coming week. So we can get them ordered in time for Spring Sprint...for those of you that plan on going....It's going to be an amazing 2012~ Looking forward to growing our team, and having a blast with Scentsy in 2012. Director....Wow!

I seriously can't believe that I have been selling Scentsy for a little over a year...and have already made Director<3 That is just hard for me to grasp. For those of you that don't know me already, my name is Cassie Allen...and I started selling Scentsy in September of 2010. I had a party for a friend, and the party was a hit! Got lots of orders, and my friends really seemed to like the product...I talked it over with James...and decided that I was going to be a consultant. =) And that is what started this journey. I will be honest with you...I am not a sales person. I am not pushy. I have 3 children, a husband, and I also work as an RN. Plus I have my own photography business...so to say I am busy..is an understatement. But Scentsy is so easy. The product sells itself, and I have gotten to meet so many people, and have just had a great time doing this business...And you can put as much or as little as you want into it. That's because it is YOUR business...=) LOVE that....

For those of you who don't know my story...I have had some serious health problems this past summer....I was hospitalized for a brain aneurysm. I spent ten days in ICU, and a month recovering at home...lots of headaches, depression, anxiety...you name it...I still deal with a lot of "stuff"...but the reason I am here today, is because of LOTS of prayers...My Lord had a purpose for me here on this earth, so I am going to give him the glory in ALL things...Even my Scentsy Business. =) I know that that may sound crazy to some of you..but that is how I roll...So get used to it =) God has a reason and a purpose for all the things we go through...and if we don't learn from them...we are the ones that are hurting...So, I am making a conscious decision to learn from my experiences.

I chose the name of my team after lots of thought...I went to Haiti on a mission trip this past January, and a number of people on my team have been on mission trips....I know of one member, Emily Jones, who is using her Scentsy business to help pay for her upcoming mission trip to El Salvador. So, the name....Beacons of Light....is my choice...Scentsy wickless candles use a bulb instead of a flame...and we want to sell Scentsy to everyone we know...but I, personally, want to be a light in a dark world...not only sharing my business with others...but sharing my love for Christ.<3 I hope you guys like the name I chose. I also hope that you are ready to get busy and make our team the best one there is! With Christ, All things are possible...I plan on putting Him at the center of this business, and this team...This is my personal decision...and I hope all you guys are excited as I am!!!

I decided to do a blog for my team...because I am a natural writer...and I Love to blog...so what better way to keep us motivated and excited about our business...for me? but to Blog about it =) I hope that works for you guys as well....I will make a team page on facebook too...but just taking one step at a time...I designed the logo on the header of this blog...and I am planning on getting t-shirts printed for us to wear to Spring Sprint together....If you can't make it to Spring Sprint...the t-shirts will still available for you if you are interested...But hoping we can ALL go! I went last year, and it was awesome!

One last thing...I want to thank you guys for helping me reach this milestone with my business...It is unbelievable to me....I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the people on my team...and that means you all are the best! I hope that I can be here to help you any way I can...I will do my best...Just remember, I do juggle a few things...lol...
